Back at work I'm afraid but I wanted to send you a quick note to say that Lorraine and I had an absolutely fantastic day with you and your mum and of course the other students. The surprise worked and Lorraine has been telling all her friends about you all, your kindness, friendliness and how we were made part of the family.
We look forward to coming back and seeing you again some day. In the meantime, please pass our regards and thanks to everyone. It was a great day and one we would love to repeat again.

I am sad to say that I made it home safely. I cannot stop thinking about our fun evening in Ravello on our last night. I cannot wait to be back there again. In fact, I would very much like to apply for a job as a dishwasher and live in Ravello for an extended period.
Again, that you so much. As soon as I get the pictures, I will email them to you as they are a fun reminder of our wonderful experience.

| Dear Chiara,
Just a quick note to let you know that Annette and I had our two sons and their wives over tonight for supper and we made the eggplant parmesian and it turned out great. We bought a puree machine so we also made our own puree and sauce. Your class is the gift that keeps on giving!
