Dear Chiara - what a wonderful day it was at the cooking school!! You & Mamma taught us such outstanding dishes with very easy to understand instructions - the day passed too quickly, but I loved every minute - I have been back in Sonoma County, California for just a week & have already tried (successfully) 2 of your recipes - your instruction were superb - I thought that you would like to see a photo of my 1st attempt at eggplant parmigana (see attached) - actually, I think the apron helped too - it put me in the mood to cook Italian style.
I know that you said that you wanted to visit Sonoma County with your family in a year or so - the San Francisco area & this part of Northern California have many wonderful things to do for children & adults alike - as your trip plans begin to develop, it would be my pleasure to give you some ideas for activities - also, there are a number of gourmet groceries nearby plus a famous local Italian grocery so fine ingredients are available here too - thank you again for a wonderful day!! Take care - Tom O'Kane
This is Bob, Sues other half. I just have to write you and say a thousand thanks for the wonderful education Sue received at Mamas school last year.
Our daughters have taken the cookbook and "run" with the recipes. My grand kids "demand" Mamma Agata cooking. Tonight we had a nice pasta dinner with Mammas tomato sauce and the flavors just linger in my mouth and say-- What a delight!!!!
Tell Mama a thousand thanks for sharing her wisdom in cooking!
After three days in Positano, four days in Rome, and four days in Florence, all we can say is attending the Mama Agata cooking school was the highlight of our trip!!!! What a beautiful day of warm, friendly companions, great cooking, wonderful views, and "sharing your life" for a day.
It couldn't have been better!! Anyone who doesn't plan a day with you has missed something very special!!
Thanks AGAIN, we will be back!!
Dave, Pam, and Ann... now back in the states and looking forward to making my own spaghetti sauce from scratch!!!!

We just wanted to thank you and Mama for one of the most memorable vacation experiences we have ever had. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly into your home and sharing your passion for cooking.
Taking your class was such a fun way to learn about Italian cuisine, food techniques and history, plus spend an afternoon eating delicious food and drinking homemade wine with new friends.
We thought the menu was perfecto - local seasonal dishes from your organic garden - and that wonderful lemon cake for dessert (Gregory, who does not usually eat dessert had 2 slices!) But what he really misses is your "red Hell" relish!
If you travel to the Connecticut/New England area, please let us know. We would love for you to stay at our home - I sincerely mean that. We are located near Hartford, Connecticut which is 2 hours from New York City and 1.5 hours from Boston.
Until we meet again...all the best to you, Mama, and your wonderful family. Ciao.
